The leader in owl-based education and programming, the Center features live owls and live owl programming, displays, and a gift shop stocked with owl merchandise. The Center is open from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and will have live owl programs at 11 a.m. 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Fridays-Mondays from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. It's also responsible for the internationally-known Festival of Owls.

This non-profit organization consists of representatives from all nine trail towns along the Root River. Together they work to promote the Root River State Bike Trail System as a regional destination, and to link people to an outdoor experience. These 60 miles of paved trails are used for biking, jogging, walking, and cross-country skiing. The trail is used by all skill levels and offers a variety of views and stops along the system.
